I understand....it is nice to have some flexibility to take an afternoon off once in a while!  Cash games on Friday nights at GG have been profitable in the past...hoping to take advantage tomorrow.

Sunday's are tough for me....you know, with the family....kids homework....work the next day...............and bowling on Monday nights.

GL though!

some of us have jobs sir.

And after work is done, some of us have graduate school projects (and group discussion postings!) due at 11:59pm on a Friday night.

My uncle (he's a Harrah's Seven Star cardholder) is in town, and he wanted me to show him the sights and sounds of Blackhawk tonight. I was devastated I couldn't. I will try to sneak away sometime next week.

So, had a good night.  Played the noon trny at GG.  With Rebuy $160 and 40,000 chips.  121 runners, went out 23rd on AQ vs A8 when a slightly larger stack caught an 8 on the turn.  If I had survived that hand (would have chipped up to about 270,000), would most likely had made the final table with the top 11 being paid and 1st place money was $4900.

Played cash afterward and with an investment of $400, cashed out $1240.   Fun when the cards go your way.........

yeah....FFSteve can certainly relate!  Get on a roll and start playing any two cards and hit on everything....and if you don't, people are afraid and fold to your bluffs.  I like to do the poker....
