Deep Stack Tourney July 31st at 5:00 - Help inaugurate our new house!

It has been many months since we have had a tournament because we were moving.  We are finally settled in and ready to "inaugurate" our new house and hope you will join us on Saturday, July 31st at 5:00 p.m. for dinner and 6:00 p.m. for the tourney start.   We are excited to have enough space for all 5 tables in our basement, so things should be able to run a little smoother (no "yelling" upstairs that blinds are up).

TOURNEY DETAILS:  This will be a $100 buy in - deep stack ($10,000) with 30 minute blinds.  We are using software to adjust the timing so that with 50 people we would expect it to finish around 1:00 a.m. - that is an "estimate" only, but I wanted to give you a heads up right up front in case that is a problem.   We will allow rebuys if someone busts in the first 30 minutes only.  All money will be in the prize pool (we never do it any other way) and we will pay 10% of the field (rounded up)...so if we get 50 players, we will pay 5 spots.

We will be capping the event at 50 players and do expect to get that amount so please RSVP early as we are going to have a "feast" first (on us this time)!  As usual, we keep a stocked bar with sodas, beer, and cocktails, but if you like something specific and want an abundance of it, you can also bring your own if you prefer.


I don't want to publish our address on the internet so once you RSVP, I will email you our address and directions to the house.  Additionally, our community has a security gate and I will email you the access code and parking instructions prior to the event.

London - how can I get mad at that?  HAVE A BLAST!  Don't forget to head to Leister Square for at least a visit to the card room there - we played a tourney when we were there last summer...get this - even with a rake, they had it as a "self deal" tourney until the final table!  NUTS!

Quick Update - we are already at 30 players...this is a likely sign that we will have 50 people soon, so while I know you may want to wait to decide, we are going to cap it at 50 and that number is now closer than I would have thought at this point.

Wow...lots of great travel among the group!  Sorry I missed you all last weekend, but alas...no babysitter...

We are at 43 people right now...should be to 50 with little extra effort.

We are officially at 50 players...if you haven't RSVP'd and want to come,, please send me an email and I will start an alternate list - it is always without fail that we lose 5 to 6 players before we get to the night of the tourney, so it shouldn't be an issue, but nonetheless, just let me know.
