Best year ever, in terms of poker results...

Thought I'd start a new thread....what has been your best year ever in terms of poker success?  I know Matt and Jeff will have something to contribute...
Name the year, event(s) and $ earnings.....I look at our group as a great "training ground" with, it seems, more and more successes happening each year.

Mine, would have to be 2009 and my 1st place, $11,488 win at Caesars.

Probably last year because I limited my losses to 5 figures.  It was pretty great.

Clearly, this is my best year - my winnings are up to $195k after the HPT win in April and the WSOP $2500 cash...hopefully, still counting.

I've said it before...I've been fortunate to play with a couple strong groups of players between here and back in Tampa over the last 5 years - THIS group is definitely the strongest, and has A LOT to do with my successes this year. I've learned more about how to deal with the beats, and staying humble with the highs here, than I have anywhere else - which definitely kept me as level-headed as I could be in April, leading up to the final table (you'll never see it on TV, but I lost 1.5mm in 2 bad beats within 30 minutes and could've easily tilted off the rest of my stack and missed the TV final table)

Even if I don't have success at MHP events - b/c too many people can figure me out or whatever, the fact that I know that and continue to work on my game makes my game that much stronger when I go up against "strangers" in events elsewhere, I think.

it would have to be the year I actually won a tournament....not sure when that was...it may have been a dream..

oh and speaking of that GO SEE INCEPTION!!!! Great movie...

My best year was the year before I started playing poker.  I actually broke even.  It was awesome.
